Refund Policy

Last updated: 9 July 2026

At Three Quarter Time, we are committed to providing high-quality music, healthy ageing, and wellbeing experiences. We understand that plans can change, and this Refund Policy outlines how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are managed for our services.

By booking a service through threequartertime.com.au, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Bookings

This Refund Policy applies to bookings for:

  • Piano Tuition

  • Music as Medicine

  • PAC Singers

  • Your Life in Song

  • Workshops and Seminars

  • Community Programs

  • The Piano Room Venue Hire

2. Cancellations by You

If you are unable to attend your booked session, please notify us as soon as possible.

More than 48 hours' notice

If you cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled booking, you may choose to:

  • Reschedule your booking to another available date; or

  • Receive a credit towards a future booking.

Less than 48 hours' notice

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session may not be eligible for a refund or credit, except where required under Australian Consumer Law or at our discretion.

3. Cancellations by Three Quarter Time

If we need to cancel or reschedule a session due to unforeseen circumstances, including illness, venue issues, or other events beyond our control, you will be offered one of the following:

  • A full refund; or

  • A credit towards a future booking; or

  • A rescheduled session at a mutually convenient time.

4. Piano Tuition

As Piano Tuition begins with a personalised consultation to ensure the lessons are the right fit, any prepaid lessons cancelled with sufficient notice may be rescheduled.

Please contact Petra directly if you need to change your lesson time.

5. Workshops & Group Programs

Programs such as Music as Medicine, PAC Singers, and other workshops often have limited places available.

If you cannot attend, please notify us as early as possible so your place may be offered to another participant.

Refunds for missed sessions are generally not available unless required by Australian Consumer Law.

6. Your Life in Song

Due to the personalised nature of this service, preparation may begin before your scheduled session.

If cancellation occurs after preparation has commenced, a partial refund or credit may be offered at our discretion, depending on the work already completed.

Optional extras, including framed keepsakes, USB recordings, photographs, and souvenir MP4 songs, may not be refundable once production has begun.

7. Venue Hire

Venue hire cancellations made with at least 7 days' notice may be rescheduled or refunded, subject to availability.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the booking may not be eligible for a refund, particularly where the booking prevents another reservation from being accepted.

8. Digital Products and Downloadable Content

Where downloadable resources or digital products become available, refunds are generally not available once the content has been accessed or downloaded, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

9. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund where services fail to meet the consumer guarantees provided under the law.

10. How to Request a Refund

To request a cancellation, reschedule, or refund, please contact us as soon as possible.
