About the event
Sound Minds is a series of five evening talks about music, the brain and ageing well, for people over 50.
Use It or Lose It looks at what music actually does to an ageing brain, including what current research says about music and dementia risk, and what the evidence does and does not show.
The 45-minute talk is explained in plain English, with a piano in the room, some participation and a cuppa afterwards. No musical ability is required.
